CherryBell® peppers are red peppers with a hot and tangy flavour complemented by a sweet vinegar marinade. Native to Peru, CherryBell® peppers are a unique type of pepper that grows in the countries highlands. The peppers are cultivated in the Lambayeque region where the optimal conditions for their growth exist, around 20 °C.
Their cultivation lasts approximately between 75 to 90 days where the harvest is carried out manually, hand collecting each individual fruit. Yields can be between 40 to 50 tons per hectare.
CherryBell® peppers are great for stuffing with creamy cheeses, Italian sausage, crabmeat, and more. This versatile vegetable is a great base to be filled as appetizers and adds value to a variety of dishes or bakery items.
